Psychologist, Smith Aurora, has considerable years clinical practice in providing psychological intervention to children and families, adults and seniors. She has worked in a expansive range of settings both in the public and private sectors before setting up her private practice in Nelson Bay in 2010. Services include mature rehabilitation, aged care and a wide range of assessments and interventions for pediatrics. Emma Butler is an Accredited Practicing dietitian with 14 years experience, specializing in diabetes education, weight management, cardiac education, gastrointestinal disorders and aged care. Prior moving to Nelson Bay Emma worked throughout Queensland specializing in community health, chronic disease and aged care. PURPOSE Nelson Plaza Clinic (NBC) aims to serve its patients by: Improving access to quality preventative care. SERVICES NBC is equipped with state of the art medical equipment to assist in providing quality preventative concern and chronic disease management. Appointments with doctors are made at ten tiny intervals. It is requested that patients attend the Clinic 10 minutes earlier to their beginning appointment. However, the unpredictable nature of a medical practice means that doctors sometimes run after time. It is our practice policy that doctors do not receive phone calls from patients or return patient’s phone calls. If a tolerant needs to speak to a doctor they must make an appointment to arrive in and see their preferred doctor.
