Tony and Margaret Fry are grateful to families of former and offer generations for their loyal patronage and promote of Fry Bros for over 125 years. It is our intention to continue the Fry Bros tradition of quality and concern as we endeavor to face and surpass your expectations. Our family looks forward to serving your family for generations to come. Our Mission Statement: Fry Bros endeavors to yield assistance to families of our community at one of the most meaningful milestones of their lives, in a subtle, respectful and dignified manner. Tony is the fifth generation member of the Fry family to be involved with Fry Bros. Up until July 2013, Tony had been occupied alongside his late father, Lindsay. Sometimes they have been referred to as the French Fry's and there has been the suggestion of changing the company name to Fry Sisters. Odette assists at the shop when she is not busy with her studies. Annabelle and Genevieve are actively involved in the funeral business. Tony and Margaret cherish the opportunity to be involved with families and find their role with Fry Bros an honor. Of course Tony is carrying significant injuries a problem with a shoulder one week or a knee injury the next! Lindsay was educated at mainland Boys Tall where he developed many lifelong friends. For many years he enjoyed the fellowship and community spirit of Pinnacle and Rotary. He allowed families to express themselves in a way that was crucial to them. He was a listener rather than a director. He had a love of mainland’s history and the local community. He was a true gentleman who enjoyed the plain things in life. Lindsay was not only a father to his family he was a workmate and friend. He passed away at home with his wife Mary by his side. He is survived by Mary, his four sons, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Over many years Lindsay has been a role model for his son Tony in the running of Fry Bros. Tony and his wife Margaret dignify Lindsay’s legacy and are proud to continue the family tradition. He possessed special carpentry skills and made ends meet by building horse drawn vehicles. This activity led to the development of a triumphant coach business. Fry Bros was also associated with furniture production, (early pieces were commonly made from cedar and are now keenly sought by old collectors.). Over many years, the slow Lindsay Fry had been a role model for his son Tony in the running of Fry Bros. Tony and his wife Margaret dignify Lindsay’s legacy and are arrogant to continue the family tradition.
They utilized the resources, such as horses, blacksmiths and horsemen available from their father Henry who was the proprietor of Fry's Coaches.
